Librarian's Internet Index (LII) is a publicly-funded website and weekly newsletter serving the world.
Every Thursday morning Librarian's Internet Index sends out free newsletter "New This Week", which features dozens of high-quality websites carefully selected, described, and organized by a team of librarians.
Topics include current events and issues, holidays and seasons, helpful tools for information users, human interest, and more.
You can subscribe to the newsletter by email or RSS, or read it on the Web.
In the fall of 2009, the Internet Public Library (IPL) will merge with the Librarians' Internet Index (LII) to create a new web presence.
The Librarian's Internet Index at http://lii.org/ is a directory of websites that you can trust.
It is well organized and you can find more than 20,000 quality sites organized into more than 14 main topics and 300 subtopics.
